Hey all,
I know it's been a long time, things are going good here... hope everything is superb wherever you may be.
I'm writing a paper for a class on online communities, and because I sincerely doubt anyone else in my class knows what DeviantArt is.. that is the topic that I chose.
So.... if you could let me know how you feel about dA that would save me a lot of things that I would otherwise make up (:
just be like... blah blah bla.. i like dA because.. and/or i think dA is overrated because.

finishing my bachelors in photography.
have been creatively dry for the past year-ish.
i can't even draw and have it look ok to me.. not that i've even had the inspiration to even try.
i don't even remember when the last time i picked up my camera for a real shoot was..
months ago that's for sure.
i'm hoping it passes when i start down here (monday) the atmosphere is a lot different, a lot less 'how can you sell this' and a lot more 'oh try this' so i've heard anyway..
new job. no more kroger.

I'm really questioning what I want to do with my 'career.' Meaning I don't know if I actually want to be a photographer anymore. Photography is one of the most important things in my life, but Ivy Tech seriously ruined it for me (at least for the moment). I don't enjoy it like I used to, I feel stupid and hopeless on photoshoots. I guess I'll have a lot to say on Monday when I talk to the program directors at my juried presentation, mostly along the lines of screw you and this entire program. ivy tinkle, ball state, photo projects, life
this is my last semester at ivy tinkle (ivy tech) and i don't even care. I have SO many projects i need to be doing but the motivation is gone. i'm three nearly four projects behind in my commercial class.. i'm failing my business practices class... quite literally.. i got a 47% on the last test.. and i'm a good student. i half-assed my portfolio review last week, but who's going to notice?.. and my independant study... hahahaha... oh deary.. but march should be a busy shooting month for me.. mainly because i have a gallery going up in april that i need photographs for.
